About Me

As an educator with over 25 years of experience in the classroom, I have dedicated my career to helping K-5 students succeed. Whether through in-person sessions in Dallas, Texas or remote Zoom sessions with students across the country, I strive to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment that helps students thrive.

My mission is to empower students with the tools and resources they need to succeed academically and beyond. As an experienced private reading intervention specialist, I am certified in the Orton-Gillingham methodology, which is an evidence-based approach that has helped countless struggling students improve their literacy skills.

When I contacted Rebecca, my son, a first grader, was only able to read a handful of high frequency words and some cvc words. He wasn’t able to spell words or wouldn't even attempt them by himself. We started to notice the difference in his reading and writing right away as she took the time to explicitly teach him all the sounds and practiced them in different ways. He is now able to read grade level books with minimal support and is able to write sentences independently with appropriate grammar, spelling and punctuation. She even taught him to check and edit his own work. My son would not have made this much progress without her support.
